Introduction
Heart Pulse Diagnosis is an ancient diagnostic technique used in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
It is believed to have originated 2000 years ago in the Emperor’s Court of China, there was no way of knowing what was wrong with the Prince or Princess at an early age under the age of 5 years old, in ancient times there was no imaging equipment or pathology to determine disease. The Radial Artery in the wrist or pulse was used to diagnosis disease. The knowledge of the pulse was handed down from father to son. This clinic is lucky to have the opportunity to understand and use Heart pulse diagnosis in practise.
Role in Cardiovascular Disease
Feeling the radial artery is imperative in understanding the current health of the patient and in particular, the cardiovascular system of the patient.
