Dr Scott Fox has been in practice since 2015, so you can be sure you are getting experience and dedication for your health. To improve a symptom is the first step but long-term outcomes require a more considered approach. Scott incorporates a range of different modalities including Medical Pulse Diagnosis (MPD), Distal Needling Acupuncture (DNA), Chinese Herbal Medicine, diet, exercise and lifestyle advice creating a holistic treatment approach to help you get the best outcome in the shortest time.
Understanding what’s really going on means first feeling your pulse. Dr Scott Fox will feel your radial artery in your wrists using MPD – this will indicate what is going on with your whole health – seriously. Then Dr Scott will ask some questions and listen carefully to confirm the diagnosis from the pulse. But for most of your session time, you will be exposed to information related to Chinese Medicine in a relaxing massage featured, reclining chair. By the end of your second treatment we’ve created a health plan especially for you. A manageable plan that suits your health goals.
What to expect…
Regardless of what may be ailing you, traditional Chinese medicine is most likely to have a solution for you.
On firstly sitting down with Dr Scott Fox (Acupuncture), your radial artery will be felt on both wrists and the information picked up from the radial artery will be relayed back to you. This may occur at the clinic, at an expo or a market.
When attending the clinic on your first day you will complete a detailed information package (you fill in many forms) to understand what is actually going on. A series of questions will be asked of you, pertaining to your health history, where you see your health in the preserved future, what health goals you would like to achieve and your commitment to your health.
Following the above detailed analysis, an introductory plan will be offered to you. The introductory plan is part of the initial assessment of how your body responds to acupuncture. While some symptoms may respond to a simple approach, others can require a lengthier treatment plan. Everybody is different so that’s why we tailor our treatment to your specific needs. Finally a video will be played to you, to explain how traditional chinese medicine and acupuncture works.
The clinic is set up in a professional way with EFTPOS facilities and a practitioner that is passionate about your wellbeing so you can be assured that you are in good and safe hands. Easy parking is available as well.
